Kadita “A.T.” Tshibaka

“In the book, I strive to tell more than the simple facts of my life. I do cover most major events, from my birth until the present day, but my deeper hope is to testify to God’s grace and goodness. I would not be where I am today without His lovingkindness in my life.

I was born in a village in the Congo, and write this from my home in the United States. The unlikely and winding river of life has carried me from a war-torn refugee hut to the heights of success in the global banking industry. Along the way, I endured separation from friends and family, a stint in prison, addiction, coups d’état, malicious coworkers, and life-threatening illnesses. I also experienced the challenge and joy of banking on six continents, along with myriad professional accomplishments.

More important than the ups and downs of my circumstances, however, are those I met who love and shape me: my selfless and honorable teachers and colleagues; my wife, Priscilla, to whom I have been married for more than fifty years; our grown children, Niki and Mara, who continually bless us; and, most importantly, my Savior, Jesus Christ, without whom I would have no story to tell.”
